Since growling into life back in 2002, Ohio pair Dan Auerbach and Patrick Carney have been the goto guys for any fi lm, TV show, credit card, video game or lingerie firm after some Americana grit. And for good reason: across their previous six albums proper, they’ve nailed a rare brand of bluesy rock authenticity. But this isn’t some joyless brand of straight-laced rock. Theirs is some of the ballsiest, filthiest fun created with a guitar. And this seventh album sees them growl up to new heights.
