By Alex Wilde - I’ve engineered a fair number of inexpensive DIY camera hacks. This one is by far the cheapest: it’s free! Simply place a drop of water on the phone’s lens, carefully turn the device over, and the suspended droplet serves as a liquid lens. Behold:
TOOLS: base & top coat, dark pink, medium pink, light pink, reinforcement stickers.
Steps 1. Start with either your darkest pink or lightest pink. Try to use colors that have good coverage with just one coat because you want this layer to dry completely before the next step. 2. Put 2 reinforcement stickers together (should look like an “8”) and place them towards the bottom of your nails. You are going to do this twice so look at your nail and cover 1/3 each time. You want to make room for all 3 of the colors for the final look. OBSESSION ALERT!! We’ve got it bad for these lovely false lashes from Paper Self. Why you ask? They’re super delicate, inspired by Chinese paper cutting and light as a feather to wear. And each one brings you a different good fortune, perfectly fitting for the Chinese New Year!
TBD Tip: Apply a thin layer of lash glue along the strip and wait two full minutes for the glue to get tacky. This way you can literally “pop” the strip along your lash line and not have to hold it in place waiting for the glue to dry. As you may know, hair chalking has been around for a little while now and it’s a great way to temporarily add color to your locks. But… with every action comes a reaction. There are several things you need to know about chalking your hair. Below are some tips + tricks along with some very important advice for before and after… |
