Electronica shows can be hit or miss. A guy with a laptop and art school-quality projections? Not so interesting. Moby is not of this school of performance, thankfully. And though much of his recent recordings have included forays into more ambient territory, none of that was on the menu Sunday night at Metropolis. This was an upbeat, feel-good, night-on-the-town show, with a tight live band backing Moby as he manically bounced from instrument to instrument.
