LAST DANCE IN SPAIN 02/23/2012
One of the last projects presented by A-Cero (a Spanish company based in Madrid, which is involved in architecture and town planning) is in one of the most exclusive developments outside of Puerto Banús in Marbella, Spain. The house is located on a slope of a mountain that boasts excellent views of the Mediterranean Sea. The rectangular property is made of Roman transventilated travertine stone and strategically built so that the rooms that would be used the most are placed on the south facade in order to benefit from the best views. The property was developed in three parts. Add Comment Filip Dujardin‘s set of structurally impossible architecture photographs will have you looking at every detail in search of those details that are basically implausible. Working with a set of photos of real buildings in and around Ghent, Belgium, and using digital collaging techniques, the photographer created a mind-dazzling collection of photos entitled “Fictions“. Filip Dujardin studied history of art at the University of Ghent, specializing in architecture and now works as an independent photographer. His work on this project expresses the intricacy of architecture while pushing the limits of reality well beyond the immediate visual effect. Transforming existing buildings into fictional structures, Filip took out details and added some unusual ones instead. Vintage Americana Comeback 02/14/2012
Vintage Americana is making a huge comeback in mainstream media thanks to artists like Lana Del Rey, and these Paul Vayanos photographs depict objects and landmarks associated with the United States’ cultural heritage. There was a time when rugged cars, mailboxes and desert scenery were a part of the American way of life, and these mesmerizing still frames encapsulate those things in such a glorified way that viewers can’t help but wish they lived several decades in the past.

The 30 Years of Optimism editorial from the spring/summer edition of the biannual British fashion magazine Love is an eccentric star-studded photo set by famed photographer Mario Testino. Kate Moss and Lara Stone stun sequin and flower-embellished “bunny ears” against a vibrant turquoise background, while Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Natalia Vodianova boast heavy layers of rich and varied textures.
