One of the last projects presented by A-Cero (a Spanish company based in Madrid, which is involved in architecture and town planning) is in one of the most exclusive developments outside of Puerto Banús in Marbella, Spain. The house is located on a slope of a mountain that boasts excellent views of the Mediterranean Sea. The rectangular property is made of Roman transventilated travertine stone and strategically built so that the rooms that would be used the most are placed on the south facade in order to benefit from the best views. The property was developed in three parts.
The lowest level is the most public space with includes the living-room, kitchen, dining room, laundry and a little service room. The first floor includes the bedrooms and an office. The second floor is dedicated to relaxation, featuring a spa, indoor pool, gym and garage. Every room is encased with large windows and wide spaces, allowing natural light to glow throughout. The geometric stone pathway greets you, leading from the street to the house over a layer of water as if to let you know on your way in, that you’re in for a real treat!
